Dr. Richard Carwardine
In January of 2010, Professor Carwardine will become the President of Corpus Christi College at the University of Oxford. He is currently the Rhodes Professor of American History at St. Catherine's College at the University of Oxford. His distinguished academic career includes winning the 2004 Lincoln Prize awarded by Gettysburg College. He was the first British Scholar to win and he recently received the Order of Lincoln in 2009 granted by The Lincoln Academy of Illinois, the highest honor given by the State of Illinois.
